Arrived in Calgary in October 1991. Over three decades she ran a day home, an East Indian grocery store, and showed up for the people around her. Founded Asha Circle because South Asian families in Calgary deserved upstream support. Recognized by our MLA in March 2026 for three decades of community building.
Family physician at Infini Health, Calgary. Medical training across Dominican Republic, United States, and Canada, including community health work in Haiti and Nicaragua. Believes community is one of the most powerful medicines available — and our job is to build it before it’s needed.
Brings financial discipline and steady oversight to Asha Circle. Ensures every dollar donated goes where it matters most. Believes trustworthy governance is what allows a community organization to grow with integrity.
